I wanted to like this more than I did. There’s definitely more personality here than the Chiuri's last collection, though. My problem is consistency. Some looks feel incredibly considered, and others feel like they accidentally wandered in from another collection. We have fur, lingerie, disco, leopard, fringe, there’s so much going on.

In saying that, Look 50 in that simple black halter dress is exactly where Fendi works for me. Clean, sexy, expensive, and not buried under 14 different ideas. Look 40 is interesting too. I actually want to see Chiuri explore more of that direction because there’s something there.

Then we get the lingerie. I understand the concept, but apparently every bra in Milan has been promoted to senior management this season. 😂

And please, remove the collars. All of them. I’m begging. 🙏

I’m interested to see where Chiuri takes Fendi next, particularly if she strips some of the noise away. The bags were spot on, naturally.

And yes, everyone has already said it, but those mirrors were ridiculous and totally distracting.
