Lemaire rarely needs to convince me and this collection reminded me why I keep coming back. The way the runway was presented made the whole thing feel incredibly immersive, atmospheric and real. It wasn't models performing in some fantasy environment, it felt like everyday people walking through the streets wearing clothes that I want to wear.

I loved the relaxed fits and muted tones, particularly the washed ocean blues, which I think were one of the strongest colour stories they've done recently. The transparent layers were another highlight. They gave the familiar Lemaire silhouettes a bit more lightness without making them feel like a departure from the brand.

The rain and wind were especially clever because they actually demonstrated why the clothes existed rather than just providing a dramatic backdrop. I particularly liked the hooded outerwear during that sequence.

But ultimately, this is what Lemaire does best. Clothes that can age with you and still look good. A wardrobe that slowly evolves over years rather than replacing it every season. This will probably look just as relevant five years from now.
